Aftercare
The first 24 hours are your lashes’ setting phase. A little extra care during this time helps protect your results and keep your natural lashes healthy.
Keep them dry & cool for 24 hours
Avoid water, steam, hot showers, saunas, swimming and excessive sweating while your lashes complete their setting phase.
Give your lashes a break
Avoid eye makeup, oily products, touching, rubbing, brushing or sleeping directly on your lashes for the first 24 hours.
Condition your lashes daily
Lash lifting is a chemical process, so ongoing conditioning is important. Use a professional lash serum or conditioning treatment to help maintain hydration, strength and healthy-looking lashes.
Be gentle with your results
After 24 hours, you can return to your normal routine. Avoid waterproof mascara where possible, as the removal required can be harsh on lifted lashes.
Allow time between lifts
We recommend waiting 6–10 weeks between lash lift treatments, depending on your natural lash cycle and condition.
Avoid water, steam and eye makeup for the first 24 hours. Your tint will gradually fade as your natural lashes grow and shed.
Want to keep your lashes looking their best between lifts? Maintenance appointments can be booked every 3–4 weeks for a fresh tint and nourishing conditioning treatment.

You don’t need to know before you book. We’ll assess your natural lash length, growth direction, condition and eye shape, as well as the result you’d like to achieve. From there, we’ll recommend the technique best suited to your lashes, whether that’s a Korean Lash Lift, Traditional Lash Lift or Lash Tint.
Not at all. Lash lifts and tints are performed with your eyes closed and should feel completely comfortable. Most clients find the treatment so relaxing they end up drifting off!
A lash lift typically lasts around 6–8 weeks, depending on your individual lash growth cycle. As your natural lashes gradually shed and new lashes grow through, the lifted effect will slowly grow out. Lash tint typically fades gradually over 4–6 weeks. We recommend leaving a minimum of 6–10 weeks between lash lifts, with optional maintenance appointments in between for a fresh tint and nourishing conditioning treatment.
Yes. A patch test is required at least 48 hours before your first lash lift or tint appointment. You may also need to be re-patch tested if anything changes that could affect your sensitivity. Your safety will always come first.
A Korean Lash Lift uses a gentler lifting system that allows us to reshape the full length of the natural lash. This makes it particularly suited to stubborn, straight or downward-growing lashes. A Traditional Lash Lift uses a classic lifting technique to create a beautifully lifted and defined curl. We’ll assess your natural lashes and recommend the technique best suited to you.
Yes! After the first 24 hours, you can wear mascara as normal, although many clients find they don’t need it after a lash lift. We recommend avoiding waterproof mascara, as it can be more difficult to remove and may put unnecessary stress on your lifted lashes.
When performed correctly, a lash lift should not compromise the health of your natural lashes. We assess the condition of your lashes before every treatment and tailor the technique and processing time accordingly. If we don’t feel your lashes are suitable to lift, we’ll always let you know.
As lash lifting is a chemical process, good aftercare is equally important. We recommend regularly conditioning and hydrating the lashes with a professional lash serum or treatment to help maintain their strength, flexibility and overall health between appointments.
Please arrive with clean lashes and no mascara, eye makeup or oily products around the eyes. This gives us a clean base to work with and helps us achieve the best possible result. If you wear contact lenses, we recommend removing them before your treatment.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding can affect sensitivity and how the hair responds to treatment, so we take a little extra care during this time. We don’t perform lash treatments during the first trimester, and a new patch test is required before treatment if you are pregnant. We’ll always assess suitability before going ahead.
Absolutely. You don’t need naturally long lashes to benefit from a lash lift. We’ll assess your lash length, growth direction and condition and choose the most suitable technique and shield to make the most of your natural lashes.
