Cookie Policy
Last updated: 12 September 2026
Cookies are small text files that a website can place on your device to remember information. This page explains how kovara.ie uses them — and, in short, we keep it minimal.
Cookies we set
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this website — which pages are popular, roughly how people find us, that kind of thing. It’s the only category of cookie we set ourselves, and it’s never set unless you say yes in the cookie banner that appears on your first visit (or via “Cookie settings” at any time afterwards). If you reject or ignore the banner, none of the cookies below are set.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics — distinguishes visitors | 2 years |
_ga_… | Google Analytics — remembers your session state | 2 years |
We don’t use any advertising or marketing cookies on this website, and we don’t sell or share this data with anyone outside Google’s role as our analytics processor.
Cookies from embedded content
A couple of things on this website load content from third parties, which may set their own cookies regardless of your analytics choice above — these aren’t cookies we control:
- Google Maps. Our Contact page embeds a Google Map so you can find the studio. Loading it may set cookies from google.com, governed by Google’s own cookie and privacy policies.
- Google Fonts. This site loads its typefaces from Google’s servers. This doesn’t set cookies, but it does share your IP address with Google when the font files are requested.
If you follow a “Book Now” link to Fresha to book an appointment, you’ll leave this website and Fresha’s own cookies will apply, governed by their cookie policy on fresha.com.
Managing cookies
Click “Cookie settings” (the small button in the corner of the screen) at any time to change your analytics choice — you can accept, reject, or update it whenever you like. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser’s own settings; since analytics is the only cookie category we set, and it’s off until you opt in, blocking cookies shouldn’t affect your ability to use this website — though it may stop the embedded Google Map from loading properly.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update this page and the “Last updated” date above whenever what we actually do changes.
