Brows That Frame Your Face, On Purpose

Brow lamination, waxing, threading and tinting, tailored to your natural brow growth, facial features and desired result. Every treatment begins with a consultation, so your brows are shaped and styled to suit you, never a one-size-fits-all approach.

Brow Lamination & Shaping

Sound Familiar?

Tired of Brow Appointments That…?

  • Leave your brows too dark, harsh or more defined than you wanted
  • Remove too much hair or change your natural shape completely
  • Leave your brows feeling unbalanced or poorly suited to your natural shape
  • Use the same shape, tint or technique on everyone, regardless of their natural brows and facial features
  • Leave laminated brows feeling dry, stiff or overprocessed

Your brows should be tailored to your natural growth, facial features and the result you want, from the shape and tint to the technique and finish. Because beautiful brows should enhance your features, not overpower them.

The Result You’re Actually After

Brows That Frame Your Face, Defined With Intention

Brows designed to complement your features, enhance your natural shape and take the effort out of everyday styling.

Effortlessly Defined

A shape and finish tailored to your natural brow growth, facial features and preferred level of definition, from soft and natural to more structured.

A Shape That Suits You

Your brows are shaped around your individual features and natural growth pattern, rather than following the same template on every client.

Results That Last

Depending on your chosen treatment, enjoy beautifully shaped, tinted or styled brows that stay looking polished long after your appointment.

Your Natural Brows Come First

Every treatment is carried out with the condition and integrity of your natural brow hairs in mind. We’ll never compromise brow health simply to achieve a particular look.

Why It Goes Wrong Elsewhere

Beautiful Brows Start With the Right Approach

When a brow treatment doesn’t give you the result you hoped for, it usually comes down to a few key things.

Rushed Consultations

Your face shape, natural brow growth and desired result should all be considered before your treatment begins. Without that conversation, it’s difficult to create brows that truly suit you.

One Shape, Every Face

Brows shouldn’t follow a template. The same shape on every client can leave brows looking too thin, too arched or simply out of balance with your natural features.

Treating Every Brow the Same

Every brow responds differently. Hair thickness, density, condition and previous treatments should all be considered when deciding how your brows are processed.

Overlooking Aftercare

What happens after your appointment matters too. The right aftercare helps keep your brow hairs hydrated and healthy while maintaining the shape and finish as they grow.

This is exactly why Kovara works differently: see the Kovara method.

The Kovara Method

Beautiful brows begin with understanding what you already have. Kovara starts with yours.

We don’t believe in applying the same brow shape to every client. Before recommending a lamination, wax, thread or tint, we take the time to understand your natural brows, facial features and the result you want, then tailor your treatment around you.

01

Your Face & Natural Brows

We assess your face shape, natural brow growth, hair density and condition to understand what will complement your features while protecting the health of your brows.

02

Your Brow History

We’ll discuss previous waxing, threading, tinting or lamination, how your brows responded and any sensitivities or concerns, so we can make informed choices for your treatment.

03

Your Desired Finish

Whether you prefer soft and natural or more defined and sculpted, we’ll tailor the shape, colour and technique to create a result that complements your features and still feels like you.

The Options

Tailored to Your Brows

Every treatment is tailored to your natural brows and desired result. Here’s how each option differs.

Brow Lamination

Best for: fuller, fluffier or more manageable brows

Brow hairs are softened, reshaped and set into a new position to create a fuller, more uniform appearance. Ideal for sparse, unruly, downward-growing or difficult-to-style brows, with the finished shape tailored to your natural growth and desired result.

Fuller-looking brows More manageable

Brow Wax / Thread & Tint

Best for: defined, shaped brows with added colour

Our signature brow shaping treatment combines your choice of waxing or threading with a customised tint. Your brows are shaped to complement your natural features, while the tint adds depth and definition to the brow hairs for a more polished finish.

Waxing and threading achieve the same overall result. We’ll help you choose the hair-removal method best suited to your skin and preference.

Tailored shape Custom tint

Brow Wax or Thread

Best for: shaping, tidying and maintaining your natural brows

Ideal if you’re happy with your natural brow colour but want a cleaner, more defined shape. Waxing or threading is used to remove unwanted hair and refine your brows while working with their natural growth.

Shape + tidy No tint

Brow Tint

Best for: adding colour and definition without reshaping

A customised tint enhances your natural brow hairs, adding depth and definition for a fuller-looking finish. Perfect as a standalone colour refresh or between your usual brow appointments.

Custom colour Added definition

Brow treatments can also be paired with Lash Lifts or lash tints for a complete brow and lash refresh.

Aftercare

Keep Your Brows Looking Their Best

A little aftercare goes a long way. How you care for your brows following your appointment can help protect your results, keep the skin comfortable and maintain healthy-looking brow hairs.

Brow Lamination Aftercare

  • Keep them dry & cool for 24 hours

Avoid water, heat, steam, hot showers, saunas, swimming and excessive sweating while your brows complete their setting phase.

  • Leave your brows undisturbed

Avoid makeup, oily products, touching, rubbing, brushing or sleeping directly on your brows for the first 24 hours.

  • Condition them daily

Brow lamination is a chemical process, so daily conditioning is important for keeping the hairs hydrated, strong and healthy. We recommend a professional brow serum or conditioning treatment rather than sealing oils such as castor oil.

  • Allow 6–10 weeks between laminations

Your brow hairs need time to recover and grow between treatments. We recommend waiting a minimum of 6–10 weeks before your next lamination.

  • Maintain them in between

Maintenance appointments can be booked every 3–4 weeks for a fresh tint and shape, with a nourishing conditioning treatment if needed.

Had a Wax, Thread or Tint?

Avoid makeup, sun exposure, sweat and hot water on the brow area for the first 24 hours, as freshly waxed or threaded skin can be more sensitive. Tint will gradually fade as your natural brow hairs grow and shed.

FAQs

Brow Questions, Answered

Still deciding what to book? Here’s what clients ask most before a brow appointment.

You don’t need to know before you book. We’ll assess your face shape, natural brow growth, hair density and skin sensitivity, as well as the result you’d like to achieve. From there, we’ll recommend the technique, or combination, best suited to you, whether that’s lamination, waxing, threading or a tint.

Both involve some brief discomfort, as hair is being removed from the root, but neither should be painful. Threading tends to feel like a series of quick pinches, while waxing is a shorter, single sensation. If you have sensitive skin, we’ll usually recommend threading as the gentler option.

A brow lamination typically lasts around 6–8 weeks, depending on your natural brow growth cycle. Waxing and threading generally keep your shape clean for 2–4 weeks before regrowth needs attention. Brow tint usually fades gradually over 2–4 weeks. We recommend maintenance appointments every 3–4 weeks to keep your shape and colour looking fresh in between.

Yes. A patch test is required at least 48 hours before your first waxing, tinting or brow lamination treatment with us. This allows us to check for any potential sensitivity or reaction before carrying out your treatment.

If you’re unsure whether your appointment requires a patch test, please contact us before booking and we’ll be happy to advise.

Both remove unwanted hair and allow us to create a beautifully defined shape. Waxing removes multiple hairs quickly using warm wax, while threading removes hairs using twisted cotton thread and can be a great alternative for clients with sensitive skin. The finished result can be very similar. It’s mainly the method of hair removal that differs.

Absolutely, this is one of our most popular bookings. Our brow treatments pair beautifully with a Lash Lift or eyelash tint for a complete, wide-awake finish. Let us know at booking, or ask at your consultation, and we’ll plan the appointment around both.

When carried out correctly and with appropriate time between treatments, brow lamination should not damage healthy brow hairs. We assess the condition of your brows beforehand and won’t laminate them if we feel the treatment isn’t suitable. Following the recommended aftercare and conditioning your brows between appointments is also important.

Arrive with your brow area clean and, where possible, free from makeup, fake tan and skincare products. This gives us a clean base to work with and helps us achieve the best possible result. Avoid exfoliating acids, retinoids or other strong active ingredients around the brow area for 7–10 days before your appointment, and let us know about any medications or skincare you’re currently using.

Treatments are not recommended during the first trimester of pregnancy. Pregnancy and breastfeeding can affect skin sensitivity, so we take a little extra care during this time, and a new patch test is required before treatment if you are pregnant. After this, brow lamination, tinting, waxing and threading are generally fine throughout pregnancy and breastfeeding. We’ll always assess suitability before going ahead.

Potentially, yes. Brow lamination can help reposition existing hairs to create the appearance of a fuller, more defined brow. However, it cannot create new hair where none is present. We’ll assess your natural brows and discuss what can realistically be achieved before your treatment.
